Lok Sabha Elections 2024 : આંધ્રપ્રદેશમાં શનિવારે ફરી એક વખત ભારે માત્રામાં રોકડ જપ્ત કરાઈ. અગાઉ શુક્રવારે પણ એનટીઆર જિલ્લામાં 8 કરોડ રૂપિયા જપ્ત કરાયા હતા. તાજેતરનો મામલો રાજ્યના પૂર્વ ગોદાવરી જિલ્લાનો છે જ્યાં શનિવારે થેલામાં ભરીને સાત કરોડ રોકડા લઈ જવામાં આવી રહ્યા હતા. તે સમયે જ નલ્લાજર્લા મંડલના અનંતપલ્લી ખાતે એક ટ્રક સાથેની ટક્કરમાં ટેમ્પો પલટી ખાઈ ગયો અને અહીંથી પોલ ખુલી ગઈ.

આ દૃશ્ય જોતાં જ સ્થાનિકો મદદ માટે દોડી આવ્યા હતા પરંતુ નોટોના બંડલો જોઈને જ તેમના હોંશ ઊડી ગયા હતા. લોકોએ કહ્યું કે ટેમ્પોમાં 7 થેલા ભરીને રોકડ ભરેલી હતી. પોલીસને જાણ કરાઈ અને રકમને જપ્ત કરવામાં આવી. આ ટેમ્પો વિજયવાડાથી વિશાખાપટ્ટનમ જઇ રહ્યો હોવાની માહિતી છે. અકસ્માતનો ભોગ બનેલા ટેમ્પો ડ્રાઈવરને ઈજા થઇ હતી અને તેને સારવાર માટે હોસ્પિટલ ખસેડાયો હતો.
